One of my cousin's daughter is getting ready for her first homecoming this year and she called me last week to find a mirrior image of blake lively's look at the Teen Choice Awards, but with a little more shine for night time. Comfy Tees

I just love and am kind of obsessed with comfy tee's that I can wear when I get home and on the weekends. I love having them around to pull on, but it seems like they loose there "comfyness" after a few times of washing, but I found a couple that I've washed and washed but they haven't seem to let me down. Haircuts for Fall of 08!!

I always get the sensation to change my hairstyle as the Fall season gets closer and closer, I never do, which could be why I always complain about my hair. So I'm making a deal with myself, if I can make a change in my hair, I can go buy cute ankle boots. Until then though, no ankle boots. Why Buy?

So I was with my beautiful friend Christian the other day at Sephora and she bought a 17 dollar tube of brow gel. Yes you heard me right. Brow Gel, the clear mascara looking bottle that you put on your eye brows to hold them in place throughout the day. My mouth was as you imagined, opened and looking like someone just ripped off my best friend. So I asked her the reason behind this tube and she said "It holds my fly out pieces down". Okay ladies I know that your eyebrows can make or break your face, but 17 dollars. I had to find another way. This morning when I was putting my face together and spraying my hair with spray gel from Pantene Pro V I realized that this little bottle of spray gel can be a multi use product. So I grabbed a new small bristle toothbrush that hasn't been used and sprayed the gel on the toothbrush, swiped on my eyebrows and then wallah instant hold down. Scarfs are so in!

I am just loving the idea of scarfs. They add a small piece of flair to any out fit. I'm not talking about the kind of flair we saw on Jen Aniston's character in Office Space. I'm talking that cute, out of the box, kick up an old tee kind of flair. The best part? You can take it off if it doesn't work where you are, you can make belt going through the loops of your belt, you can tie them in your hair. So versatile and worth the ten bucks or less. I have been on vacation but I am exited to be back and letting you know about great finds I have been eyeing for awhile. I had a friend actually give me this web-site before her bridal luncheon. Basics for Fall!!

Attention Attention!! If you need basics for this years fall wardrobe, now is the time to head over to Wet Seal. There tanks and tees are 3 for 12 dollars. That's only $4.00 for a basic, that is a great deal. One work of advice though, buy one size bigger and while you are at the store hold the sides of the shirt to make sure it is even on both sides. I have had a couple not many but a couple of shirts that have a crooked seam line. Not flattering. Happy Shopping!

I don't know about you but Summer weddings should be coming to a close, but because It still only August (not to mention 8-8-08), I have three more wedding in the next two weeks. I, just like any other fashionista will not be photographed in the same dress twice, that would be a don't in Glamour's book. So how can you afford dresses to go to weddings? Easy, come here and I'll show you. You never want to out do a bride or her bridal party, so stick with cotton's or silk dresses, depending on the venue. Have you ever noticed when you have a bad hair day and you throw your hair in a pony tail and slide a headband on it, you actually get compliments. I was blown away yesterday when I walked into a store and I had a polka dot headband on with messy hair and I had three compliments on my cute messy up do. WTF? Pretty Colors

Yay! It is fall (well almost) and that means the new colors are coming into stores for back to school. I know that I don't go to High School anymore but when I hear back to school, I don't think I'm really going to school, I think of it as a legit excuse to go shopping. So all this week we are going to have a back to school bash, starting with Accessories.

Forever 21 has opened a new store called For Love 21 and it is all accessories. I love it, I was at the store in Irvine, California and found the cutest earrings. They make a simple tee and jeans stand out. The For Love 21 store in California was so clean and crisp, it made me feel like I was in a high class boutique, which is a feeling any girl should have.

Wednesday's

I don't know if a lot of people know this but I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Stores usually have a new shipment of goods on Tuesdays or Thursdays, so they need to get a lot of clothing sold to make room. Wednesday is the day that most retail store start a sale, or pulling regular priced clothing and mark it down 30-60% off. I'm always first in line on Wednesdays and I head straight for the clothing racks. Last Wednesday I scored really big because not only did Dillard's have the "Wednesday" markdowns it was also there annual 40% already marked down goods. So I was able to get three tops, one pair of trousers, one pair of shoes and a ring for $33.00. I went over on my budget but I couldn't pass any of it up. My boyfriend also got me a Betsey Johnson bag that was originally $300 for $60.00! He doesn't know that I know ;-) (shh!). So my tip of this week is to go to the stores on Wednesday, That is also the slowest traffic days, so good luck and let me know how it turns out!
